Argus shortlisted by the LME

Argus is pleased to have been shortlisted by the London Metal Exchange to provide an independent market price for the exchange’s new cash settled lithium contract. The new contract, which is expected to be launched in 2020, aims to provide a pricing and risk management tool to serve the entire EV market.

Last month a team from Argus presented our proposal regarding lithium reference prices to the LME’s electric vehicle advisory team, which was made up of more than 60 industry participants including lithium producers, refiners, and battery producers.

We invite you to view our presentation on this important development in the market here.
