When: Thursday, 17 October, 2024
Where: Four Seasons Westcliff, Johannesburg, South Africa
The volatility in international coal prices in 2022 and early 2023 has subsided lately and given way to a period of relative stability, although uncertainty persists. After a year of tumult in 2022 and early 2023 - during which the market was twice turned upside down - questions are being asked as to how sustainable the current price environment is, and therefore what the market will fundamentally look like through winter 2023 and early 2024. Winter supply and demand risks for coal and its competing fuels are driving the narrative.
Following up on our success from 2023, this year's edition will provide an opportunity for market participants to get the latest update, discuss the challenges and opportunities in this developing market, and understand some of the ways in which Argus can add value to their operations.
