Sarah has decades of industry experience, including 17 years in senior strategic purchasing management positions. She was responsible for a wide range of materials including olefins, fertilizers and commodity raw materials, as well as management and project roles covering chemicals business management, sales, planning and logistics. Sarah began her career working for BP in oil exploration and has worked for DeWitt, Ineos, Tessenderlo Chemie (LVM) and Rhodia. She has a degree in geology from Leicester University.
Craig leads the global ethylene team focusing primarily on Outlooks and Analytics Services. He has over 30 years’ experience in the olefins industry, working across the world, with major olefins and derivative producers including on olefins feedstocks and refinery integration. Craig delivers an integrated view across the ethylene value chain. His global analyses cover the Americas, Asia-Pacific and European markets. He has also worked for Dow Chemical and ExxonMobil. Craig holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree from Rice University.
Becky works as an editor for Asian olefins and methanol markets. She has 10 years experience of real-time market editor work. She also spent two years in consulting services as a project manager focusing on the Chinese market and led projects in various industries, including refining, olefins, polymers, coal and methanol. Becky is a chemical engineering graduate from the East China University of Science and Technology and has two masters’ degrees, in environmental and energy engineering from the University of Sheffield and in Entrepreneurship from the University of Nottingham.
Craig is a member of the Argus Media olefins team focusing on propylene and associated derivatives. He contributes to the monthly Olefins Outlook report, the biannual Propylene Analytics report, and provides support to both internal stakeholders and external clients. Craig has nearly 25 years’ experience in the petrochemical industry including roles with producers and consultants. The variety of products covered in his career include polymers, olefins, aromatics, asphalt, methanol, inorganics, oxo-alcohols, and electricity.
Alan focuses primarily on olefins in Europe and the Middle East. Alan has more than 35 years of experience in the European petrochemicals industry with BP.
Lee Toong Shien (TS) is an associate editor in Argus based in Singapore. He specialises in various petchem products, including toluene, ethylene, propylene and MTBE in Asia and the Middle East. He joined Argus in 2018 and before that he worked in the financial industry. TS graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics.
Dhanish is a Deputy Analyst Manager in the London Consulting office, mainly focusing on olefins, polyolefins and chlor alkali. He got his undergraduate in chemical engineering and a MSc in Finance Analytics. His experience includes roles working in power generation, project management, agriculture and analytics. He also spent time at an edible oil refinery in operations and managing projects with high pressure biomass boilers, steam turbines, water treatment, and fuel management.
Josie is an analyst in Shanghai focused on olefins and polyolefins markets. Her experience includes working at Pacific Gas as a market analyst in the strategic department, focusing on LPG, ethane, shipping and financial markets. Josie is a chartered financial analyst and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, and a master’s in finance and investment from the University of Bristol.
Simon is an analyst in the London Consulting office focusing on propylene, polypropylene, and C5s and hydrocarbon resins. He holds an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Manchester. Before joining Argus, he worked as a chemical emergency responder for the National Chemical Emergency Centre.
