Alex joined Argus’ petrochemicals team in 2014. He has responsibility for the London-based editorial team covering the chemicals chain from olefins and aromatics to polymers and other derivatives. He also writes the European section of the Argus Propylene and Derivatives service. Before this, Alex wrote for the Argus European Electricity service, leading an expansion into developing central and east European markets. He graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in physics.
Chloe focuses predominantly on the European market, looking at market dynamics for recycled polymers across the value chain. Before Argus, Chloe previously held the position of PET and rPET analyst at a consultancy company for 5 years, responsible for global reports and research and analysis of the EMEARC region. Since then, she has supported the launch and development of the Argus Recycled Polymers report, which includes weekly pricing, news and analysis of rPET, rPE, rPP, chemical recycling and biobased feedstocks. Chloe graduated with a 2:1 in English Literature from Queen Mary, University of London.
George joined Argus in 2023 as a graduate trainee after completing a degree in chemistry at the University of East Anglia. He currently works in the European petrochemicals editorial team covering a variety of commodities including PVC, rPET, EDC, VCM, PS and helping to launch the new Argus Biochemicals service.
