Oliver Hatfield is the VP of Fertilizers for Argus Media in London. Oliver joined Argus in October 2018 following its acquisition of Integer Research, where he was head of the fertilizer market research team and one of the company’s founders. He has more than 20 years of experience in business analysis and consulting.
Oliver is currently leading business development across Argus’ global nitrogen, phosphates and potash businesses, and driving the development of the company’s business in clean ammonia and specialty fertilizers. He is a regular speaker at industry events and is a graduate of economics and development economics from the University of Manchester in the UK.
Andrea Valentini has 15 years of experience of commodities market analysis. He is currently leading Argus' global ammonia business, as well as hydrogen and fertilizers markets in APAC and Middle East. Andrea was also the lead author of the highly regarded Argus Green Ammonia Strategy Report.
Prior to joining Argus, he was the head of consulting for Integer Research. He is a regular speaker and industry events and has over 10 years of experience in APAC markets. Andrea is a graduate in Economics from the University of Padua in Italy and holds an MBA from McGill University, Canada.
Marina leads Argus Fertilizer & Ammonia Consulting, with 21 years’ experience in fertilizer market intelligence, with a specialization in the ammonia value chain, including low-carbon ammonia, and nitrogen fertilizers, including urea.
Over the years, Marina has developed a unique in-depth understanding of the global fertilizer industry from leading ammonia producers (OCI Global & EuroChem) to consulting companies (Fertecon, CRU Group, S&P Global, IHS Markit) and a senior leadership role at a global association IFA
Victoria Hatherick has been Editor of European Emissions at Argus Media for the past two years, and has worked on Argus's emissions desk since 2020, with a focus on compliance carbon markets.
Before this Victoria covered the French, Belgian and Dutch electricity markets for Argus, after moving to the company from Thomson Reuters.
Hendrik Schuldt is Managing Director at carboneer, a Berlin-based carbon markets advisory firm. He has strong expertise in CBAM, assisting clients worldwide with CBAM data sourcing, automated data collection from supply chains, seamless integration into CBAM reports, and the forecasting and management of CBAM-related costs.
He is also a PhD candidate at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), researching the intersection of financial markets and climate policy.
Francesca Cerchia is the Global Head of Climate Services with SGS. In her role she is responsible for the global development and management of services that promote and support the transition to greener, smarter, and safer industries & societies. She leads SGS global engagements on GHG emissions and energy transition.
Francesca holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management (USA), a MSc in Economics from the Post Graduate Institute of European Studies (College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium) and a BA in Political Science from the Università degli Studi di Roma (Italy). She is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
Jerónimo Casas has 25 years’ experience in environmental services with a focus on climate change and impact assessment for a wide range of industrial clients, from the automotive industry to cement, ceramics, steel, fertiliser, aviation and many more.
With SGS he has first covered the role of Environmental Department Manager in Spain and currently holds the position of Global Product Manager for Climate Change and Sustainability Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for the global development of climate change services such as GHG emissions verification for corporates (ISO 16064-1, ISO 14068, GHG Protocol, ISO 14083), mandatory reporting (EU ETS, CORSIA, CBAM), product carbon footprints (ISO 14067) and LCAs (Life Cycle Assessments).
Paula Gómez has 20 years’ experience in environmental services with a focus on climate change and impact assessment for a wide range of industrial clients, from the automotive industry to cement, ceramics, steel, fertiliser, aviation and many more.
With SGS she has the role of Department Manager in Castilla y León (Spain). In this role, she is responsible for the development of climate change services such as GHG emissions verification for corporates (ISO 16064-1, ISO 14068, GHG Protocol, ISO 14083), mandatory reporting (EU ETS, CORSIA, CBAM), product carbon footprints (ISO 14067) and LCAs (Life Cycle Assessments). Paula holds a Degree in Agricultural engineer, from the University of Valladolid (Spain).
