Tom Searle, Principal, Argus Consulting Services

Tom oversees the delivery of bespoke studies in the renewable fuels sector, including biofuels, biomethane and e-fuels. Tom’s work involves assessment of the changes to legislation, technology and fuel demand, and providing long-term views for how these elements influence demand and pricing for each renewable fuel in the transport and generation fuel sectors. He has worked with a broad range of market participants, from project developers and financial institutions to major fuel blenders and traders.

James Evans, Senior Manager, Argus Consulting Services

James Evans is a senior manager at Argus Consulting and has over fifteen years of experience analysing the renewable fuels sector including extensive analysis of producers, industry trends and key sector commodities. Prior to joining Argus, he was the lead global clean energy analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence and has broad experience of working with corporates, buy-side and sell-side financial institutions and governmental departments. Most recent project work includes analysis of the biomethane, renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel and second-generation ethanol markets. James is a graduate of City University Business School and has a master’s degree from the Technische Universität Berlin.
