Webinar: Global Steel market outlook

Michael Fitzgerald is the VP of business development for metals at Argus, responsible for promoting the use of Argus metals prices throughout different supply chains and financial contracts. He previously served as the managing US ferrous editor at S&P Global Commodity Insights, directing coverage and prices of finished steel and raw materials. He has spent the past 13 years covering and analyzing the global steel market with a focus on North America. Michael holds an MBA from Duquesne University and a bachelors in economics from the University of Pittsburgh. 

Annie is the senior analyst of Argus ferrous team in Shanghai. She has been with the company for six years, covering Asia-Pacific steel market and focusing on the run of flat steel price indexes. She produces reports and analysis pieces on Asia-Pacific steel market and helped to make known the Argus HRC fob China price index to market participants in China. She has over ten years of experience in steel market reporting and analysis.  

Lora is Editor for Steel, based in London. She oversees steel price assessments and news/analysis in the Argus Global Steel report, also covering the Italian and Spanish domestic and import flat steel markets, with a focus on hot-rolled, cold-rolled and galvanised coils. Lora has been with Argus since 2017, and has covered a range of steel markets prior to her current role.

Colin is the steel lead for Argus in London. Since joining in July 2018 he has spearheaded the launch of European and US steel prices, and has grown indexation in the European sector. Colin covers European flat-rolled markets, including the benchmark northwest European HRC index, which is settlement basis for CME and LME futures contracts. He has been writing about steel since 2008 and has a wealth of experience in covering and overseeing IOSCO benchmarks. He was worldsteel journalist of the year in 2020.
