Dave is responsible for steering Argus’ methanol and derivatives services. He has 25 years’ experience in the petrochemicals sector plus another 20 years’ consulting experience, with previous roles in field sales, distribution planning, hydrocarbon purchasing, manufacturing and operations planning, prior to his consulting career. Dave is responsible for the development and publication of Argus Methanol Analytics – an extensive study of global methanol supply, demand, trade flows and expected capacity additions.

Victoria joined Argus in 2020 and is Head of European methanol and MTBE/ETBE markets. She contributes to benchmark spot price assessments, as well as supply and demand analytics for the Argus Methanol and Argus Fuels and Octanes services. Victoria has over ten years’ experience covering the methanol and fuel octanes markets with pricing and consulting firms. She holds MA and MPhil degrees from Trinity College, University of Cambridge.

Roel focuses on the expansion of the Methanol and Fuels and Octane Services in strategic regions. He has over 17 years’ experience in petrochemical services relating to olefins, methanol, MTBE, octanes, and feedstocks. Roel’s previous experience includes managing system development projects in several industries and he has also worked at one of Mobil’s ethylene crackers in Houston between 1996-97. He holds a degree in Information Systems from the University of Houston.

Becky is Market Analyst Team Manager and is responsible for the Argus Shanghai editorial team. She also covers Asia’s olefins and methanol markets and has 13 years’ experience in market intelligence and chemical market dynamics. Becky also has two years’ consulting experience focusing on China market and leading projects on refineries, coal, olefins, and polymers markets. She frequently presents at olefins and methanol conferences and forums. Becky is a chemical engineering graduate from East China University of Science and Technology, and holds two masters’ degrees in Environmental and Energy Engineering from the University of Sheffield and Entrepreneurship from the University of Nottingham.
 

Cassidy is the lead analyst for Argus’ polymers portfolio, including launching the new Polyethylene Outlook and Polypropylene Outlook. She also works with the Methanol team on data maintenance and projects. Prior to joining the Chemicals team, she held various administration and operation roles at Argus and McKinsey. Cassidy holds a degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s from University of Houston.
 

Akash is involved in improving the granularity of integrated aromatics and olefins derivative markets. He previously spent one and half years at Prismane Consulting in Pune, where he worked on projects related to speciality polymers, bulk polymers, petrochemicals, bio-plastics and inorganic chemicals. Akash holds a B.Tech degree in Petrochemical Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune.
