Louise Burke is currently leading the development of North American Biofuels and Global Aviation business for Argus Media. She has worked closely on a global level in providing key support on value integration in the supply chain works across all regional teams in Asia, Europe and the Americas to support the needs of the market. Ms. Burke began her professional career in the energy industry working for major oil corporations in Canada and the US where she performed both short and long-term analyses of energy prices and market trends. Following this, she worked in the financial energy futures adoptions industry as Vice-President for the New York Mercantile Exchange (now CME group) during its rapid growth in the 1990s. She currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of The Energy Forum, a non-profit organization designed to increase understanding of energy issues and is also affiliated with the SIPA energy program at Columbia University, New York as an instructor in the area of petroleum markets trading.
