Join Argus editor Stefka Wechsler as she examines the latest trends in the Americas bunker market, with a focus on tariffs, sanctions and greenhouse gas regulations.
Joined Argus in 2012 as an editor and marine fuel analyst contributing to the daily price and news report Argus Marine Fuels. She created and maintains a marine exhaust scrubber database and an alternative marine fuels-powered vessels database. In addition to conventional bunkers, she tracks prices of alternative marine fuels (ammonia, LNG, methanol, biofuels, etc.). Formerly a residual fuel oil consultant with Poten & Partners (2006-2012), where she focused on market analysis for fuel oil production, consumption and regulations.
She contributed to the monthly Fuel Oil in World Markets and Fuel Oil Opinion reports and co-authored the study Marine Fuel Regulations 2010-2025, among others. She has an MBA from Fordham University.
